How can you get involved?
Write to the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His Excellency the President of the DR Congo Joseph Kabila Kabange, urging the Government to do more to stop violence against women and girls and bring perpetrators to justice. Send letters to P.O. Box 3862, New York, NY 10163.

Tell your friends. Tell your friends and family about what is happening in DRC and encourage them to visit this site.

Alert the media. Tell your local media sources - radio, newspaper and television - about the grave situation of women and girls in DRC and what people can do about it.
Host an event. Educate yourself and others by hosting an event about sexual violence in DRC at your school, local community center, church, mosque or synagogue. Use different sources of media such as film, news articles theatre and music, to communicate to your audience.
